Luther500 Festival

The Luther500 Festival is the most fun, affordable, easy and revitalizing way to vacation in Germany with your family or your congregation, and be immersed in the history and impact of the Reformation. Honestly who knew Church history could be so much fun?!  If you've ever enjoyed family camp in an intergenerational setting, learning while laughing, relaxing and making life-long friends, then you have an idea what Luther500 Fest is like.

Check the website, or drop us an email or give us a call and find out more! The next one is June 14-21, 2021.  It's the 500th Anniversary of the Diet of Worms -- the moment when a stormy monk spoke truth to power and society moved from the medieval to the modern age.  It's also the 500th Anniversary of Luther's stay at the Wartburg Castle under the protection of the Elector Frederick, and Luther's transformative translation of the New Testament into everyday German. The city of Worms (where we'll spend the last two days of the week together) and the Wartburg Castle (which we will tour on the way to Worms) have special exhibits in 2021. As far as we know, these special exhibits happen only once every 500 years!

So, come on, think about joining us there!  www.luther500fest.com
